Late Entry
With about a week until we start out mission of Laos there has been one last minute addition to the team, Benjamin Hjort.

Benjamin Hjort, a top-of-the-range kayaker, is renowned worldwide for his skills behind the lenses of both photo and video cameras. He is as asset to have on his expedition as his ability on the river and his documentary skills will assist dramatically in the fulfilment of the expedition goals.
His website (http://www.hjortmedia.com/info.htm) displays a number of very impressive photos and videos from his travels.
I can’t wait to get onto the water with him.

I am leaving South Africa early next week to meet up with Lachlan in Bangkok. From there we will be travelling by rail to Laos. Lachlan has located a number of sweet looking (and some not so sweet looking) waterfalls and creeks for us to warm up on before we set out on the one of our main goals, a descent of the threatened Xe Kamman River.
We will post information here as often as possible so keep an eye on this page.
